Where there is a shortfall between the amount of Housing Benefit we are awarding and your rent, Crisis and Resilience Fund Payments is a scheme for claimants who are caused exceptional hardship due to this shortfall. These payments are at the discretion of the council, are subject to very limited funds, and are usually only intended for short periods of time.
